I believe storytelling is a form of healing, that writing, art and music all helps us articulate a story and explain feelings we would otherwise not really be able to piece together. I also believe that listening to stories helps us connect, gives us empathy and an ability to unite.
While I was living in Aida refugee camp, Bethlehem, I did a number of interviews with women for which I will be writing a selection of short stories and publishing on here. Each of the participants wished to remain anonymous, and while the stories are written creatively, they are true accounts of personal experiences that they had.
At the same time, I filmed a documentary for which I am currently in the process of editing. The documentary will be released early 2019, however I will post small pieces of film on here.
